Season 2 Winners

Sheena is a Year 9 student studying in Doha, Qatar with a passion for reading, creative writing, and pencil sketching. Being a creative personality with a vivid imagination and a reflective introvert, writing is her way of communicating. It allows her to express her thoughts, feelings, and ideas in a unique manner sans the judgmental views. Nonspecific genre motivates her creative spirit, allowing her to express freely and without boundaries. Freed from the constraints of predefined themes, she let her imagination loose, ventured into unmapped territory, and ended up creating something uniquely her own. The word limit, on the contrary, was beneficial for her as it helped her convey her ideas concisely. She dreams of pursuing a career in fashion, with aspirations to combine her love for design and storytelling through fashion content writing.

Dr Suruchi Aditya is working as a Professor in Pharmacology in Dr HSJ Institute of Dental Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh for the past two decades. She has co-authored the book “Install antivirus in your heartware”, with her husband Dr Aditya Rattan.

She has immense interest in creative writing and has been participating in many short story competitions. She won second prize in Asian Literary Society Wordsmith Award for a short story titled “Unscripted”. She finds herself in awe of the wonderful world of words and wishes to write more on woman issues and various genres of English fiction in the future.

A student of Kothari International School, Noida, Viyaan Baranwal is an award-winning poet and a published author, recognised in multiple national and international competitions. His literary work spans poetry, short stories, and research-based articles on climate change, gender justice, and social issues. As a budding writer, he wishes to prove that words can change the world while also exploring his own evolving voice.
